Dear Lord In this hectic world we live in, we are constantly on the move. We find ourselves searching for something we can't really put a name to. We think we are happy, because we have nice things, or have many friends, but deep inside we still know there is something missing. Life can be hard at times leading us into great sadness. We struggle with our times of grief and wonder why me. During our times of great joy we feel we are invincible, but still deep inside us there is a knowing that there is something missing. The world wants us to forget about that inner fire deep inside us that is reaching out to be quenched. Every day the world wins a stronger hold on us, until soon we are able to totally ignore the fire. Soon we forget it is even there, but it is always there. We seek an inner peace, a place that we feel safe and secure. The world makes us believe that it can provide that peace. Sadly most of the time the world wins. Satan rules the world and he is the best salesman walking the earth. Satan has us convinced he has the answer. The burning fire though never goes out. Satan doesn’t. Satan can NEVER give us inner peace. Inner peace comes from knowing the Lord God and His son Jesus Christ. When we reach out to Jesus, He will always be there. When we accept that we cannot do it alone, that the only way to quench the burning fire is by excepting we are sinners and Jesus’ blood is the only way to put out the fire, then and only then will we be filled by the Holy Spirit and the fire put out forever. Today most men have no time for You or the precious gift of Your Son. We find the time to party and play, but we almost never share find time for Jesus. We reach out to You for Your help to open the hearts of men about Your Son Jesus Christ. We pray that many men will see through the blindness of a material world, and come to know the precious love of Jesus Christ, the most perfect gift they can ever receive. Lord, Thank you that when we come before you in prayer bringing all our issues that rob us of our peace to you , may we surrender them to you allowing you to take them, trusting you as we let go. An amazing peace will come over us, guarding us and keeping us. Father thank you that there is nothing too difficult for you and if you are for us then wo can be against us. We desire to praise You,knowing that You Are all we ever needed:we thank You for making a Way where there was none,for us to come to You,Calling ABBA:Blessed is Your Name,Jesus! I thank You,ABBA,for this day and I know You were with me as i strayed;You gently tugged me back to thee and set me upright, that i would again,follow Thee Amen
